Grounded in a background in filmmaking, Kevin's career spanning over 8 years has been propelled by a profound passion for artistic expression and community engagement. Their collaborative ethos has led them to collaborate closely with numerous non-profit organizations, both locally in Indonesia and across the globe.
Throughout their career, Kevin has effortlessly transitioned between a myriad of roles, including music, archiving, curation, graphic design, photography, videography, and beyond. Rejecting the confines of singular labels, Kevin embraces the fluidity and versatility of their skill set, infusing their work with a holistic perspective that extends beyond mere artistic creation to encompass elements of business development and organizational management.

Born in Jakarta, Indonesia (1997), Kevin received a BA in Film Studies from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Yogyakarta, in 2021. Kevin has been actively involved and contributed to the art scene since 2015. Their first exhibition was a photography series exhibited at the AWOR GALLERY Photography Exhibition "Reload to Last Frame" at Awor Coffee, Yogyakarta, Indonesia (2015). Following this, Kevin's second exhibition was a video art and installation, exhibited at the KOPAJA Art Exhibition: Hello Batavia #2 at the Jogja National Museum, Yogyakarta, Indonesia (2015).
A year later, Kevin exhibited at numerous alternative spaces/galleries, including Lir Space, Yogyakarta (2015-2018), Kelas Pagi Yogyakarta (2016), Jogja Contemporary (2017), as well as off-site/on-site projects across the world; Veinti4/Siete Galeria, San Jose, Costa Rica (2017), Kinema Ikon, Arad Art Museum, Romania (2017), and documenta fifteen, The Fridericianum, Kassel, Germany (2022).
Besides their artistic works, Kevin also does commissioned work as a graphic designer, videographer/video editor, music video director, and photographer. They have been commissioned to design music album covers; Grrrl Gang's 'Here To Stay' 12" Vinyl LP (2020), and Winona Dryver's 'First Echo Solution' EP (2021). Directed Skandal's Superfine (2018), and Stay Slay Slack (2019) music videos. Shot a photo product catalogue for Triple Suply (2017), and KANS Store Yogyakarta (2018).
Kevin and their friends initiated a collective in Yogyakarta, Sekutu Imajiner (2016-2020), a collective that focused on making alternative events for music, film screenings, and performances in several alternative spaces in Yogyakarta city. Kevin was also part of alternative film communities in Yogyakarta; KAMISINEMA (2015-2017), and Forum Film Dokumenter (2017-2020). From 2017 to 2020, Kevin worked as an assistant film programmer for Festival Film Dokumenter Yogyakarta.
Kevin was a member of GUDSKUL: Collective Study and Contemporary Art Ecosystem from 2021 until 2023. During this time, Kevin worked closely with numerous art collectives across Indonesia and worldwide. In GUDSKUL, Kevin was a project manager/assistant manager for the GUDSKUL Collective Studies #4 (2021) and Sekolah Temujalar in documenta fifteen (2022). In 2023, Kevin joined Museum MACAN as part of the museum's development team, leading them to expand their connections to the wider art and education community.
Kevin uses reflections of daily life and memories with reciprocal relationships between human beings as the basis of implementations for their work with no restriction between mediums. Kevin intends to have an implemented dialogue between their arts and audience as part of growing communities and as part of social making. As an interdisciplinary artist, Kevin has channeled their explorations through self-made music with the bands; Selancar Jaya (Art Rock/Noise Rock; 2017-2019), Winona Dryver (Shoegaze/Noise Rock/Alt Rock Band; 2017-2023), and Glitter Piss (Noise Pop/Indie Pop; 2022-2023).
